🌲 A Home in the Pine Forest — A Space for Words, Play, and Peace
Bucha, Private Residence
This landscape project was created for a writer, a journalist, and their family. The home is nestled in a pine forest in Bucha — a place where nature itself sets the rhythm and shape of life.
The main goal was to preserve the feeling of a true forest, without imposing excessive ornamentation. The space was designed as a continuation of the natural environment — low-maintenance, honest, and respectful of wild beauty.
A large portion of the property is dedicated to open lawn areas for games and play. The family — especially the two sons and their lively dog — enjoy daily football matches and active time outdoors. It’s a living space for childhood, joy, and freedom.
The planting palette consists of forest-type plants — shade-tolerant, resilient, and undemanding. Everything is chosen to require minimal upkeep, as the family lovingly maintains the garden themselves, in their own rhythm and with their own hands.
This garden isn’t about formality or perfection. It’s about real life. It breathes with the family’s energy, offers inspiration for writing, room for play, silence for rest — and a natural harmony that embraces them all.
